Minimal professional growth, continuing education opportunities. "invisible" bonuses promised Poor management & staff organization; upper management focus on revenue over service. Low performing staff and managers tolerated. Poor orientation for new hires: Over 1 month to get ID badges, work tools/laptops and disorganized training. Very poor communication from home office with field staff

Cons

Future depends on the group you join; lots of work -- this is healthcare in transition, as at all health systems: lots of extra pressure, though, due to mergers and acquistions; right people not always hired or advanced.

They don't subscribe to the toxic Automotive industry management culture. A refreshing difference. Lots of time off, flexible hours, great pay.

Cons

For IT professionals: this is a hospital system, so they don't like being on the bleeding edge. For a hospital system, they have very mediocre healthcare insurance.
