Pros

When it was open there was lots of opportunity to grow as an artist.

Cons

Too much debt to recover. Shutting down was inevitable.

Had some glory days

Pros

The game team (teams eventually) believed passionately in online games. When the company started, that was not yet a foregone conclusion in the world. They hired well for believers in online. They took the subpar MMO they had first created, hired and fired, and eventually built a very good game. (Which got destroyed through staffing attrition and lack of support from c suite.) Funky cosmetic items. Made the world's first and maybe only "Real-time turn-based game"

Cons

Product Owners lacked robust player analytics to make informed decisions. Developers who did not deliver compelling experiences were Studio leadership addressed morale with emotion rather than future business plans.
