Pros
TEI has an excellent benefits package. Mr. McQuillan spares no expense when it comes to benefits. Generous 401K matching, Blue Cross PPO for health insurance, Blue Cross for dental all in all great benefits. More generous than most other companies that I have worked for.
Cons
Horrible with employee relations. Unless you work in just their office and have a degree you are nothing to them. The Field Service Techs and Waste Water Techs bust their butts and get no respect from the company when it is those employees that are keeping TEI in business. Also no matter how long you have worked there you are not safe. One guy was fired a few months ago after being there for 10 years and was loved by the customers simply because the new manager they hired who had been there for less than 1 year for his dept. didn't like him. Office politics at TEI stink. Its a popularity contest and the awards that they give out every year are a joke.
