      Pros

      The Commercial Sales Manager position was very rewarding, a good work environment with great people to work with. Trugreen offers good benefits, both medical and financial incentives.

      Cons

      From a business prospective, their changes in decreasing salaries and taking away company vehicle's was the only negative experience.

      Pros

      If you choose to work hard and learn as you go, then TruGreen is a great place to work. If you want everything handed to you on a silver platter and then have an easy job, go elsewhere. Trugreen paid me for my time and expenses while I was training out of state. I had all the tools I needed to complete the jobs. On the occasions when I couldn't complete my assigned stops, there was never any threats of being fired. Most of the missed stops were weather related and some were customer related. It takes a season to learn the ins and outs of the business.

      Cons

      Sales people and lawn techs are not on the same page and many times are competing against each other for sales.

      Pros

      This is a starter job, only good during the spring! You make about 9.86 a hour and get reembursed about .25 a mile for travel. That's not Pro!

      Cons

      This is not a permanent position even though they tell you that! Layoffs are seasonal. Get a real permanent job, Don't mess with this company here in Columbia SC. Poorly managed and they show favoritism with sales leads. I'm looking for another job now, I will be out of there quick they just hired a guy a month ago and then laid him off. Ask him if he's coming back in January? Are you serious, OMG.
