Pros

It's a job, I guess.

Cons

This company is the most soul-sucking job I have ever had. We were told by our regional manager that we were dispensable, stupid children. There is no room for growth, there is no respect for employees and the benefits are subpar.

Micromanagement Hell

Pros

Work at home Good supervisors Paid weekly plus commission

Cons

This company had gotten absolutely horrible since the new ceo started. He started by reducing the amount of pto we got. Then he cut our lunches to 30 minutes. Your adherence has to be 90% meaning if you deviate from your schedule you get harassed even if the reason is your on a call assisting customers. This company has hired people to micro manage you. Not supervisors. There are people sitting there monitoring you all day. If you've been available for more than a minute say your drinking water or catching your breath or checking on a sale you get a message from someone passive aggressively asking you if you need help. All day every day. If a sales call runs in to your break or lunch you get a message telling you to adhere to your breaks even though you're just doing your job and have no control over how long the calls are. You will also have your peers micromanaging your calls. Listening to your call while you are on it and telling you what to do. Even if you are rated highly or have over 90% proficiency at something and have been doing it for years you'll have someone on your call harassing you as your trying to work. If you have one bad day you'll get called into a meeting about it instead of having the rest of the week to make it up. You'll be forced to do over time and if you're too tired you'll have to use your pto to cover it. If you want good health care you'll also have to look elsewhere. They have reduced the regular health plan to an mec which covers nothing. The pay is not competitive even though they pretend it is. You'll also be made to work certain holidays that we would normally have had off. This company used to be great until the new ceo came. Now it is only about the company gaining every cent they can and squeezing every once of energy out of their slaves.
