      Pros

      You do get to be outside a lot, which is nice sometimes. You do get to be outdoors which is nice sometimes.

      Cons

      Be prepared to be a stressed-out mess every single day. Your regular customers will grow to hate you as you try to service their lawn in record-setting time without even a minute to talk to them. And if you do take a few minutes to talk with a customer, you'll be chasing those ten minutes for the rest of the day.

      Trugreen used to be a great place to work, but since it was purchased, has steadily declined in compensation andculture.

      Pros

      Being able to work without having a manager looking over your shoulder all day long. Also it is a physical job and keeps you in shape without beating you up too much.

      Cons

      There are too many different requirements through-out the week to keep track of. Treat all your lawns, make sales (most people get into this job to get away from sales) market other services to all your customers. Do everything in less than 40 hours. I made less money in 2010 than I did in my first year with Trugreen in 2006-07.

      Pros

      Pay is good, opportunity to advance within company is very good.

      Cons

      Long hours including weekends. Spring it's very real possibility you work 8am-9pm mon-fri and 9-5 Saturday. Don't look for pats on the back, they give you a job and expect you to excel w/o constant feedback.
