      Very easy going and without the micro management, Take lunch's and breaks at your will. Its pretty quit and relaxing. Friendly places.

      Its currently down sizing but all companys are.

      CUNA Mutual employees truly embody the corporate values that are on the wall. Passion, courage and innovation describe ever individual within the company. Collaboration is how things move effectively. Executive leadership has tremendous integrity and they focus on making this the best work environment in the city of Madison. It is crucial that you continue to hire the type of folks you have, solicit their feed back and respond in kind. It is this cycle that makes CUNA Mutual such a rewarding experience.

      Everyone is moving so quickly to get things done that it requires a significant effort to change their direction.

      Pros

      Comp and benefits are competitive. Credit union marketplace is admirable. Most people want to do a good job. Facilities are generally comfortable.

      Cons

      Executive leadership does not support each other. Considerable infighting amongst groups. Still feels like an old boy network. Limited number of women and minorities in senior roles. Often poor communication on important matters. Leadership training and development doesn't seem to be thoughtful. Downturn in financial services and poor handling of a technology project have created an uncomfortable environment. Credit union marketplace is consolidating but the company struggles to play in other markets.
