Pros

I enjoy meaningful work. My manager keeps me informed and works on projects that help the company achieve its goals. I like knowing that my work is making a difference. I like the accountability and transparency the company has provided. We have monthly companywide meetings and meet weekly as a team. This is my first time working for a company where the goals are transparent and communicated regularly.

Cons

There are no cons so far - I wish I could see more of my colleagues, but I would not trade this for working from home.

Thank you for sharing your candid feedback about your experience while working at TrueCar. We recognize that many things about the organization have likely changed since your tenure, including our leadership team and how TrueCar operates. Creating a supportive and respectful workplace culture remains a top priority for us, and we are committed to fostering an environment where all employees feel valued and respected. Clear communication and mutual respect are fundamental to TrueCar. To facilitate open dialogue, we have established various internal communication feedback channels, such as monthly all-hands meetings where employees can ask questions and engage directly with our leadership team. Additionally, our quarterly feedback cycles ensure focused time for employees to discuss their progress and career aspirations with their managers. Our intranet site serves as a digital hub for important company updates and information, promoting transparency and accessibility across the organization. Ensuring fair and competitive compensation is another cornerstone of our commitment to our employees. We actively communicate our compensation review process, which involves conducting biannual assessments of job benchmarks and market pay data from various sources. We believe in transparency throughout this process to ensure our employees understand and trust that they are fairly and competitively compensated. The introduction of our new core values—ambitious, focused, evolving, and team—at the end of 2023 reflects our commitment to cultivating a culture of excellence and teamwork. These values guide our actions and decisions as we continue to evolve and adapt to meet the needs of our employees and customers. We are excited about the direction the organization is heading and the innovative products and services we can bring to our partners and consumers in the auto industry. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.
