Pros

Most people at the company believe in the mission as I did, to help pets. IT organization was immature and working to improve. Many good people working there.

Cons

Backstabbing rather than team work was how middle management acted. Impressions from the top management decided who was fired rather than acting on real information, so avoiding blame was the focus of many. No two week notice was given to the people they fired. Many short cuts were taken by poor managers that hurt the workers in the company, workers were fired or had to work day and night to make the IT managers look better.

Pros

Good corporate values, ambitious, growing, challenging, pets at the office, good benefits, decent pay, professional (for the most part), keeps moving forward.

Cons

Company culture can be inconsistent, some parts of the business lack mature practices, tends to bite off more than it can chew, inconsistent levels of communication, stark divide between high and low paid workers.

you get freedom to work on your areas and get things done without a lot of policies/procedures.

Cons

Trupanion is good company, and people are polite and mostly casual. location could be better...would be nice in east side.
