      Pros

      The policy offered to pet owners is superior to any competitive product currently in the market. Additionally the demand for the product has never been stronger.

      Cons

      The biggest challenge is that the operational leaders are way to emotional with tendencies to bully the personnel . The marketing chief who for all intensive purposes is the COO has no leadership skills and an ego bigger than the Sun. Since she assumed the leadership position the company has moved away from proactive innovating to emotional reacting!

      Nice to be able to take your dog to work each day.

      Cons

      Lack of respect shown to employees and Territory Partners out in the field. I've been in TP support for over 6 months now and the lack of appreciation and disrespect shown to them is kinda scary. These are the people making the company and are treated as expendable casualties. The CEO needs to be more involved with the management and the oil that operates the inner workings of this company. We're constantly told to 'improve' our work ethic and 'check up' on the TPs. I feel like a babysitter at times.

      Pros

      The ability to lead special and talented people with unique skills is what Trupanion lacks in a big way. I've witnessed many good people who love(d) this company in a constant confusion over direction and new managers. I've been in TP support for over 6 months. I've witnessed constant disrespect for these Territory Partners out in the field. I feel at times that the CEO should be more aware of the managers and the oil that is used to operate the day to day operations.

      Lots of big heads and inflated egos.
