Pros

Working in the field can be lonely, and challenging. I've been with Trupanion less than a year and they have been very supportive throughout. There's a lot of transparency with the company, so we have a good idea on what direction the company is going. A great bunch of people who just want to help pets.

Cons

This is only a con right now as it is still developing, however some information tends to get to us in the field a little on the late side. This has been noted and is improving though, so even though it's a con, I want to express how well management is already taking that into consideration and fixing the problem.

Pros

Fun low key environment that allows pets at work! People who are passionate about pets and helping them. Sabbatical every 5 years.

Cons

Executive team pushed out former COO claiming he needed a break but he had passion and it was more a coup by those who didn’t want competition for the CEO position that will be opening up in the next few years. Pay is low for seattle for many of the same jobs. They claim benefits offset that but only if you have a child does that workout.
