Pros

If you can make it past your 6 month probationary period you are eligible for a tuition waiver of 6 credits

Cons

They are facing some deep financial troubles which has meant that through the Voluntary Separation Package they have lost key employees, additionally, their termination practices are lacking humanity. Everything seems to be about MONEY.

Pros

Tulane was a great place to work. I enjoyed my 18+ years there.

Cons

Tulane doesn't like to compensate there present employees when they apply for other jobs within Tulane. I was an employee for over 18 yrs and applied for a opportunity within Tulane. They contacted me to inform me that I was the person they wanted for the job, but then they informed me of my new salary and was insulted. They wanted to give me pennies and increase my workload significantly. After I turned down the job they then hired a person outside of Tulane for more then double my salary with the same qualifications. How do you expect to keep employees when you do stuff like this.
