      Great perks, convenient work location, plenty of great people to work with, lots of long weekends and mandatory days off, the job can be satisfying if you're into aiding others' professional development (students)

      Cons

      lazy work atmosphere, a lot of outdated technology and work processes, poor funding and underpaid, job responsibilities always extend outside the scope of the job you initially applied for

      A great university to study, not so much to work

      Pros

      Good benefits: paid leave days, sick days, a good health insurance plan, and a generous tuition waiver.

      Cons

      Salaries are lower as compared to other similar academic settings. Administrative staff are easy going and nice but somewhat unprofessional, incompetent, unorganized, and slow. KRONOS time management system is a terrible choice for a research institution.
