First, I would like to point out that all of the negative reviews are FULL of spelling and grammatical errors. It's obviously not the brightest of the bunch bestowing their words of wisdom upon us... With that said, I happen to be one of the many employees that have been here over 20 years. This is a family. It is also a solid business that has been around since 1923. I'm not sure where people got the idea that they don't have to work hard or endure some stress in their careers. Turtle & Hughes has been, and continues to be, a great place to work.

Cons

Is there room for improvement? There is always room to improve. We need to communicate better internally. We need to continue to improve upon employee training.

ESOP..it's there and it's good if you can last long enough to collect it and once your fully vested it holds you by the throat until you can escape

Cons

management...no management, they walk in circles patting themselves on the back and telling each other how great they are. No one calls you back, basic business practices are ignored. it's corrupt over inflated egos and beaten down employees suffering until they leave

Their health insurance was adequate.

Cons

Very poor management support, lack of training, provided sourcing was useless, training was not adequate, their system was truly unworkable and you could not get a response from corporate when there were problems.
