- Inconsistent hours, usually no more than 10/ week - Much lower hourly rate than you can make in a private practice

Simple to get into. Good starter. Easy communication and procedures.

Cons

Unfortunately, there is no pay for any prep you might require unless you want to charge that on the family as well (would be unfair to make that the same rate as actual tutoring time)
