      Pros

      Relatively high hourly rate compared to other tutor jobs.

      Cons

      Only 9 hours a week and everyone is poorly trained. Only had some videos on basics but not payed to go through them and everyone comes in not knowing what to do.

      Easy to set up your own schedule and atudent to work with. Fast email communication, and online tutoring program to record session notes.

      Cons

      Only can work with student during evening hours, ranging from 4-8 p.m., and can only work 25 hours a month.

      Pros

      The tutors care a lot about the students. Great work culture. It is great getting to know the students and see them excel.

      Cons

      Sometimes the school wants to use us as homework help, but homework is not the only part of the afterschool program. The portal to get the materials is not always easy to navigate.
