Pros

I honestly feel the only pro is convenience of working online

Cons

No interaction with students Very low compensation for effort outdated classroom platform not using modern techniques of tutoring Poor mentoring system for tutors Many students coming online dont have any clue about subject and double effort required to tutor them

Okay for a side job

Pros

Work from home. Flexible schedule. Ability to cancel up to 24 hrs per month and miss up to 19.99% of of scheduled hours per month without consequence.

Cons

Ever changing rules. Sometimes unkind students leave unjustified poor reviews and that makes bonuses almost impossible. Gets repetitive after a while. Low pay compared to every where else. No compete clause means you aren’t supposed to have similar work while working here even though the pay is low and sometimes difficult to get hours. Advancement is at the mercy of the mentor. A bad mentor makes this job almost unbearable.

Pros

Flexible schedule; work-life balance; enjoyed the students

Cons

Impersonal; lack of timely support; consistent technical issues; resources not user-friendly; NOT WORTH THE PAY!!!
