Pros

Work life balance is still ok, though getting worse.

Cons

Rife with politics, culture now completely taken over by ex Goldman Sachs employees. Once this place had the best benefits, but one by one they've been removed as "cost-cutting measures." Reorgs happen all the time, and a lot of the best talent is slowly leaving.

Pros

This is a place that really cares about doing right by its employees. The perks are great and senior management is focused on the right things. There is definitely a culture of learning and a strong willingness by management to support experimentation and exploration -- feels rather unique for a finance firm.

Cons

Very time-consuming hiring process (on both the side of interviewers and interviewees). Not convinced it's as effective as it could be given the time investment.
