      First year at Two Sigma - I had worked in financial markets for 25 years prior to joining, and its so different!

      Pros

      Culture is second to none - everyone is welcoming and helpful, no-one seems hassled or standoffish. Spoken about a lot, rarely ever true, team work is a genuine thing at Two Sigma, there is no obvious hierarchy day to day. Knowledge is there to be shared. Data access and quality is the best. So much resource available to make general life better whilst working.

      Cons

      Very US-centric but becoming more international.
