Pros

Benefits are pretty good. If you like traveling a lot, you might enjoy it at first.

Cons

You get minimal training on a very complex software and then are expected to figure it all out on your own. Software has a 90s feel to it, not the latest and greatest technology. The Project Managers get their bonus based on how much you work, so they will work you to death if you let them. This is not a 40 hour a week job, expect to spend 60 to 80 hours a week learning it on your own initially. They send a different consultant just about every week to the client sites, so expect to be compared to the consultants they've had before. That can be a good or a bad thing. Clients do complain a lot and negativity is pervasive. They won’t ask you how the trip went but will tell you all the negative feedback they might have received. I heard lots of negative comments about other consultants from client, so I'm assuming they treated me the same way to consultants that came after me. Employee morale among implementation consultants isn't great. Project Managers beat you down pretty bad. In my opinion, this is a toxic and hostile work environment, where you never feel appreciated. I know several consultants that feel the same way I feel. The pay is way below industry standards.

Pros

- BCBS as health insurance. - Use of small gym on campus/basketball course. - Subsidized food.

Cons

- Low pay. - Little to no raises. - Inconsistent bonuses (one year got one the next didn't [across the company]) - Arrogant team members. - Inept management. - Chaotic work environment (processes, policy, etc). - Top folks are at the top because they've been at the company the longest- not because they perform the best. - You won't learn anything new which in IT is a death sentence.

Pros

Pay is decent. They have a happy-hour every month or so. They also have food trucks come to the building. Also, a fairly large parking lot.

Cons

Awful managers outside of the one singular decent manager in the CAD/Records department, disgusting culture, they use the Tyler Technology name to make themselves seem like a good company. They are in reality New World, look up the reviews for the former New World. You'll get a sense of what this place is going to be like. They'll tell you in your interview that they are changing and looking to be a positive workplace. They are the same toxic place they were, everything I read in the New World reviews was true. The recruiter will lie to you to get you to work there. He will sell the job as something utterly different than what it is, this job is straight up a call center. That is all you are, just a body to answer a phone. You also can't leave that position for a minimum of 18 months. If you have any industry experience, get a job elsewhere. If you have no experience other than working at a Walmart or something, than sure, this is probably going to be a great job for you. Otherwise, this was the single worst career decision I ever made and I urge you to not make the same mistakes and believe their drivel about change and improvement.
