      Fun but no fulfilling

      Pros

      Very fun culture (volleyball, frisbee, and lots of other events). Very flexible with work schedules.

      Cons

      Too much drinking (and significant amounts of drunk driving after events). Very unserious, we did very little and the average quality of engineers is very low.

      Pros

      Really good workplace culture - people are very friendly and care a lot about their work. The clients are great - local government staff who are just working hard to make a difference in their communities. Very stable employment - they have never laid anyone off. Good benefits. Lots of different product lines, so opportunities for moving around are good internally.

      Cons

      Salaries are not competitive with other tech companies. People stay at the company for a really long time (pro and con) so advancement can be tough.
