Good work life balance, benefits OK, but any PRO is overshadowed by the CONS

Cons

Really talented people are shown the door while totally incompetent lifers remain in leadership positions. There is a toxic culture at this company, created by tolerating negligence, stupidity and complacency among employees in management positions. There’s also a collection of individual contributors stuck in neutral, running as fast as they can while getting nowhere. This place is an embarrassing dysfunctional mess from top to bottom!

Tyler is a great company to work for. I've been an employee for several years and I've enjoyed my experience. The best part about the company is probably the people. They really value the character and integrity of a person when hiring. It's laid back and not very stressful as well.

Cons

The only problem that everyone seems to agree with is that Tyler does pay quite a bit under the average for the developer positions.
