Only reason this company does well is that it realistically has no competition, and as a result holds onto its contracts despite terrible delivery and software. Extremely low bar for interviews, HR has no transparency, and there is no real effort to hire talented engineers that can raise the bar for contribution in the organization. Growth here for an early career employee here is wasted. Upper management is not open to new ideas and wants to stick to old ways

You work from home and are expected to slack. You are expected to learn from slack. This is the MS branch. Rest of the company realizes you need communication and leadership. This branch thinks if you slack on slack, making you feel bad or doubling your work is move. They will say they thought but the senior dev is the most annoying dev and talks bad about any one the dev doesn’t like and then he gets passive aggressive. They win best company of ms because the managers send got the link. I now work for the best company in ms and the manager is involved, still socially awkward but not near to the fame level. To manage your need leadership

Excellent culture relaxed but upholds excellent Compassionate and reasonable management no toxic culture. management ensures there is not toxicity. they listen to employee concerns very approach senior leaders good salary only doing 2 days onsite work

Cons

Not much policy in place and problem with employees taking advantage. sometimes its demotivating especially if employees that are not following rules are not properly sanctioned. not much opportunity for promotion
