Pros

Tyson is a company with a lot of potential.

Cons

The distribution/transportation organization is a good ol boys club. There is a much higher hurdle to climb as a woman. This is evident in the lack of women in leadership positions. As a woman in this organization, my ideas and work were consistently ignored or presented as the work/ideas of male leadership.

Pros

Access to company store and discounts. Summer hours allow an early Friday. IT salary is competitive.

Cons

Decisions are made on a whim. Team members are treated as expendable. Managers are only about protecting themselves, not their direct reports. All team members are overworked and underappreciated.
