Pros

It's a job You learn routes quickly bcuz u go same places alot

Cons

99% of loads require you to drive at night. They don't care if your tired only if loads get there on time. all loads pretty much only give bare legal time to deliver if that blame drivers for everything so get ready even if they make a mistake they find a way to blame the driver. loads are constantly late coming out of plants so when its time to go home BEWARE! You may end up stuck somewhere 1000 miles away for days and noone apologizes. Few facilities and most yards are filthy so you can't take showers unless your at a truck stop. Not a trucking company so when your truck breaks down they dont resources to handle their own work you will hv to get a third party to fix even a flat tire. Dispatch treats you like a trainee and is often very disrespectful towards drivers. Low pay and will run you back to back you will only get your required 10hr break nothing more. Sometimes you may work longer than 14hes because loads are not planned based on when you actually finish but just your delivery times. No way for you to view anything online your pay, loads, etc

Rude dispatcher

Pros

When I have a different dispatcher everything runs smooth and is great and I love working for Tyson

Cons

One dispatcher of theirs is extremely rude and doesn't even try to take of his drivers. He gives crappy loads and acts like an arrogant donkey (if you get what I mean). And when you try to talk to him about your loads etc he cuts you off and tells you to do what he says and then treats you like scum and gives you even crappier loads. With this dispatcher there have been days I have considered taking a lower paying job just to get away from him. That's sad that anyone would leave a company for less money because of an employee what does that say about the company and who they employee.
