Pros

The bank has weathered the storm better than its peers making it a stand out place to work. There is growing excitement of its success, but that needs to be reflected it its salaries of its mid level employees.

Cons

Salaries are lower and flexibility is per department, not a bank wide policy.

Pros

In-store banker is an entry level position where you do the combined duties of a teller and a personal banker. It is akin to the Universal Banker position in the traditional branch. In other banking institutions, a personal banker is definitely NOT an entry-level position, so it is great that you automatically are one step above others.

Cons

- compensation is WAY below other banks - don't even think about getting sick, management does not like it when people get sick and will try to guilt trip you/ force you into coming into work - you will be asked to aisle market heavily, which is basically bothering people while they are shopping in the store - Company does not treat their employees well, this is verified through their HIGH turnover rate

Pros

Appreciation of senior management, bonuses/incentive plans offered in every position, advancement opportunities, benefits, paid volunteer day, employee assistance programs, employee contests, pay for performance & stability of being one of the strongest banks in the country.

Cons

Most employees not paid at midpoint of salary range, development is hands off- you have to drive it, many 'lifers' at bank do not pull their own weight, very slow to get things done, bad technology for employee daily use & overall sense that the bank is cheap.
