Pros

I have loved my time at US Xpress. It is clear to me that upper leadership values their employees and what they bring to the table. Leaders on the director and VP level constantly reach out to the employees in a personal manner that allows them to feel heard and respected. This kind of care and attention to the employees is not something that you can find in many places and it is one of the reason that I love working here.

Cons

Nothing is perfect and this is a very fast paced work environment. That being said, I stand by what has been previously mentioned: US Xpress values their employees and values their customer.

Pros

U.S. Xpress is always working on improving things for driver and staff alike. They are progressive, open-minded, forward thinking and aware of their opportunities for improvement and address them and remedy them head on. Great succession planning!(there is actually a plan)

Cons

U.S. Xpress values every employee's opinion. While this is a good thing, the con is that it can take time to implement solutions because they are getting input from employees.

Pros

Depending on what account your doing it can be very profitable.

Cons

If your truck breaks down and they have to put you in a hotel they will abandon you to figure out how you're getting there. Their equipment is garbage just most other big companies. Safety WILL AND I REPEAT, THEY WILL TRY TO PUSH YOU TO DRIVE even if you notified them of your truck being unsafe to drive or even if you admit you are tired and need a lil bit of rest. Personally i told safety about my tires and he put me in a shop only to try and give me another 400 mile load on bald tires the day before im scheduled for the shop.
