      Pros

      There is so much opportunity for improvement that you will truly never be bored and have a chance to really build your resume. If you're good - you'll move up quickly - sometimes too quickly. If you're good - you'll do awesome and be a star. If you're already a star you'll burn out quick.

      Cons

      Not employee friendly. High stress, "high school" drama, executives who shouldn't be executives, and very poor benefits. Operating systems are antiquated and the company will only spend the money to improve/replace if it relates to operations. Horrible pay practices.

      Great location for small town feeling/lifestyle.

      Cons

      Management turns on a dime. Some managers had an elitist attitude. Nepotism is rampant here.

      Good experience at US Xpress

      Pros

      We roll hard, and keep the truck moving. Deliver on time, pickup on time, and keep the safety and log book correct at all times. US Xpress kept us rolling, were responsive to our special requests, had good equipment, and I would work for them again.

      Cons

      If you just want to "relax" and get paid for little work, look somewhere else, you don't belong in the trucking industry. If you like to roll hard, take care of yourself, your freight, your truck, and your CDL, then you will have no worries here. Other than that, I hope they have figured out a better way to allocate empty trailers.
