- good health insurance benefits, but the premium doubled unexpectedly at the start of 2026 - other employees on campus are nice and helpful - great PTO accumulation that rolls over yearly - campus feels safe and has walking trails, outdoor gym equipment, and multiple cafes scattered around

Cons

- $100/month to park next to my building - have to park 15 minutes away to not pay this - had to contact the union because I was withheld part of my pay during the summer of 2025 due to HR not including my pay raise and yearly inflation bonus - constant construction on campus - hear loud banging and concrete breaking everyday - regular IT issues due to communication errors between the main UC Davis campus and UC Davis Health campus - because I work in research, my job is contingent on funding and will be terminated early due to my research study not getting renewed by the NIH
