Pros

Respect for nurses by the medical staff (I'd heard of negative experiences by RNs in one of the ICUs, but never had a negative experience myself). Well staffed State of the art technology in the ICUs Friendly, professional coworkers

Cons

Communication from managers not always adequate. Team recognition adequate; individual recognition lacking.

Pros

Caring staff and a well oiled machine when it comes to specifics areas of patient care. Good morale most of the time.

Cons

Outside its specific strengths, it fails in big ways. There are gaping holes and an inability to compromise to close them.

Pros

They give good benefits and have a range of fields that they hire people to work in at moderate pay.

Cons

It is working at a large public institution where pay is mediocre and the bureaucracy can be frustrating at times.
