Pros

The work is fairly easy, you are rarely (if ever) asked to work weekends or nights, the benefits are decent, vacation/sick/time-off is better than most companies, the brand is altruistic at its core, co-workers are respectful and easy-going for the most part.

Cons

politics are stifling for any innovation or creativity in marketing, bureaucratic upper-echelon puts a damper on several projects that start out as great ideas and end up as frankenstein hybrids. If you're a creative, working here could be considered "career suicide." Poor communication, lack of direction from egotistical upper-management makes for a difficult workflow.

Pros

Lots of different groups and opportunities. The classes are challenging but make for a great education overall.

Cons

It's hard to walk up the hills especially if you live on campus, but it comes with having a big campus!

Pros

Great PI relationship and supportive staff. I received a lot of help from other researchers, it has a real sense of community.

Cons

Could be a little bit political in the higher ranking faculties Extremely long hours, including weekend work but I knew that going in, just never realized how extensive it is.
