Pros

UCLA has a relative unlimited access to all types of sources and friendly environment with little restrictions. You have all the freedom to work towards your aim if you are strongly self-motivated and decisive in actions

Cons

Lack of completion and full of bureaucracy. People are sticking too strictly to the unnecessary routines without giving them a thorough thought. Recently ,due to the tight budget, they are working extremely hard to increase revenue in inappropriate ways ,such as increasing employee' house renting and parking fees.

Pros

UCLA is a beautiful place to work at. There are quite a few awesome personalities at play in such a diverse community. There are also many brilliant minds within the Facilities Management, academic and medical staff. The University does an excellent job of maintaining the campus and medical center hardscape and interior appearances.

Cons

There is a political atmosphere that can be discouraging at times. It concerns me that cronyism is still very prevalent. Some members of management lack the professionalism that is expected of a sector that handles a large amount of business.
