      Pros

      The benefits of you know how to navigate through them and most facilities are nice and clean with gorgeous views. Some of the smartest clinicians I’ve ever met.

      Cons

      behind the jumping on the DEI bandwagon appearance, the powers that be definitely do not practice their preaching of DEI. They are bullies and severely unorganized and will try to stretch each employee as much as they can and take advantage of those hard workers team player mentality. When I see the videos of leadership and executives talking about equity and rights among the entire UCSF community, it literally makes me want to vomit.

      * Easy for entry level jobs * Lots of opportunities to learn about healthcare and help patients * Good benefits * Gifts for Christmas and New Year

      Cons

      * Worst team dynamics, zero team building activities. Had to face a lot of negativity while recommending new work flows * Pay not competitive or justifies work you do * Almost all depts in Pediatrics are always short staffed and very high employee turn around * Micro managers and no scope for growth(Mgr checking ehr inbox w/out your permission) * Surveys are sent for employee feedback but hardly any action is taken * Skip level meetings don't exist at all * Groups that have worked together in the same team for a long time make change hard and never have an open mind towards new team members * No career paths for admin staff
