They have a busy 911 service and it’s easy to gain experience quickly.

Cons

They are slow to give competitive wages and raises are yearly/varied. I made more at other places with much less stress and much better work life balance. You have to really love what you do to work here.

UMC Health System has an incredible and inclusive culture. Working in healthcare can be extremely challenging, but UMCHS’s approach to employees is second-to-none. They take an employee-first approach knowing that engaged, supported, respected employees provide outstanding healthcare to patients.

Cons
