      Pros

      Working for big corporation with with matching retirement. That's it!

      Cons

      Prejudice, racist, hostile, power struggle, fear longer environment. The dignity and respect element of the company is a facade, Human resources department is a joke, it all matters who you know and who you do favors for at any level of management... Very political and inconsistent upper management behavior.

      Unreliable positions, but great experience

      Pros

      - was able to telecommute with my position - flexible PTO time

      Cons

      - Have been laid off 3 times by UPMC. Unreliability has led me to unemployment for the past year - Insurance costs drastically increased from year to year. Health system & insurance both are very intrusive as to your health status. - Pay/ Merit increase is minimal. Don't press your luck to get more than 2.5-3% of a raise each year.
