      Pros

      UPS offers tuition reimbursement for students meeting their criteria. It is different depending on where you live. It was a great place to work when going to college.

      Cons

      UPS is a union company. This is usually a good thing but some people misuse it. UPS is scared of getting a lawsuit so they don't fire people that need to be fired.

      Ok pay given the responsibility, ok benefits, don't have to work a lot of hours, on-site gym and cafeteria. People are pleasant.

      Cons

      Few promotion opportunities for Supervisors, Managers, or Directors - terrible upward mobility. There is a huge glut of Managers and Directors that have been around forever --- making it challenging to move up unless someone dies. Culture is old-school. While hours are not long, you better be at your desk between 8am-5pm. Count on a max 2%-3% raise every year, even if you were an awesome performer. Career development process is almost entirely useless. If you are career motivated, UPS is not the place for you. If you're looking for an easy 8-5 job and little responsibility given the pay, UPS is the place for you.
