Pros

Excellent return for your work. You work hard you move up. Lots of paid time off. Great EO environment. Paid school opportunities.

Cons

You spend a lot of time away from your home and family. You have to deploy to war it’s our job that’s what we do.

-Free training opportunities in a variety of fields -Great benefits -Pay can be pretty decent, especially for officers -Chance to travel the world

Cons

-Constant invasions of privacy -Deployments (don't believe that you'll never go!) -Always told what to do -No freedom to improve the system unless you're extremely high up

Pros

Gained training, structure, and strong work ethic. The benefits and costs were pretty balanced, now that the real world is sinking in with health, dental, and life insurance are added budgetary costs. All in all, great life experience, but can only be handled for so long.

Cons

Uneven award and promotion systems; deployed too often; antiquated technology and equipment; occasional bad leadership but most would try to do the right thing.
