Pros

The Army will take you many places and allow you to see many things. The Signal Corp utilizes the best known and up to date equipment to accomplish its mission, meaning that if an older piece of equipment works then they will continue to use it. Fort Gordon is a great place to learn your job. The Army is a great place to raise a family, the benefits are great and included.

Cons

The Signal Corp has many dirtbags looking to collect a check. Like any organization, it is prone to ass kissing and good ol boy groups. In some instances, your supervisor will take credit for the deeds you have done saying that they trained you and deserve the credit, when in all reality they didn't train you and they have no idea how you accomplished your mission. there is no such thing as 'overtime' you will work until the job is done, you are only gauranteed four hours of sleep. Not to say that it happens regularly or could ever happen, but I have expierenced long weeks and I look back satisfied and proud.

Pros

The benefits are among the best compared to other organizations. The salary is competitive. The type of work that a recruiter does can be rewarding with the end product of producing quality Soldiers.

Cons

The amount of time and effort put into the job can cause strain on a family life. The lack of respect you receive from some people can put extra stress on you.
