Pros

Great benefits and pay compared to similar position in the civilian sector. Would recommend working for them is there is a position available.

Cons

Takes a very long time to actually get hired due to security and background checks and getting computer access. I was there a long time before I could actually do my work. Lots of training required.

Kicked out because of DADT.

Pros

DADT was repealed, current President is a Democrat, Monterey, CA, was terrific, and the GI Bill is a great benefit.

Cons

Highly unintelligent, fratish, heteronormative environment. Many service members and civilians dislike their jobs, but it is the economy we live in.
