Pros

Steady stream of students, so if you're willing to work hard you'll get plenty of work. I found that it was a pretty close-knit pilot group there. Management knows that instructing is temporary for most people. They want you to move on to successful airline careers. They also offer fairly competitive pay and a decent sign on bonus.

Cons

Long hours, sometimes long wait times for fuel, older fleet. Plenty of people complain, but in my experience it's a great place to work.

Pros

- Most personnel is easy-going and easy to work with. - Many of the management and flight personnel are well-connected, leading to good networking possibilities. - Discounted pilot store products and flight training. - Maintenance staff is quite competent. - Despite the management con(s) below, they are pretty good at listening to concerns and requests on an individual basis.

Cons

- Management has a "my way or the highway" mentality, even in the face of overwhelming consensus from those below them. - Seniority means a lot less here than at other aviation institutions - Intra-office communication could be streamlined and improved a great deal - More than a few instances of nepotism - Aging fleet
