Pros
The United States Census allowed me to work in addition to a full-time job and not for bad pay. I was usually able to accommodate for any time I needed off by working different days.
Cons
The Census "Crew Leader" was not terribly good at directing. After several weeks of quality work and no problems I was told that I needed to start working 20 hours a week in order to keep my job. At that point I was already working overtime for my primary job. I applied for 10 hours a week and had my work schedule included. I wound up making my 20 hours but I was not happy with how the situation was handled. My management figure was incapable of any criticism or even direct questions like- "how do I handle this situation?" were answered with "you should know..." This was my only downside though.
