      Independent work. Every day brings new challenges. Get to interact with every imaginable personality type. Interesting & important work. Challenging.

      Cons

      Not for a person who takes anything personally. Must be able to calm & persuade difficult & angry people that you encounter occasionally. Need to be comfortable in all types of neighborhoods.. High performance expectations can be stressful.

      Careful if you do the American Community Survey. Out of 30 cases per month must complete 28 or get fired.

      Flexibility and training. There is a feeling of working on a team. There are goals to reach making it fun and challenging.

      Cons

      Sometimes dealing with the public can be difficult and not everyone is nice, but those who are make the job worth it. My supervisor always coaches me and helps me to over done any difficulties
