      Pros

      I loved the flexibility. It was fun and interesting traveling to new places in my area. I was surprised that most people I encountered were nice and I enjoyed talking to them.

      Cons

      There can be a level of paranoia when you hear about people being threatened or even shot when approaching someone's house (I'm talking in general, not Census workers specifically). I never felt threatened, though I must admit a few places I visited seemed a little sketchy.

      Pros

      Maxi-flex schedule. I was able to attend night classes because of the flexibility in scheduling options. There's also flexibility in the way I'm able to perform my assigned tasks. I have the tools I need to do the job and as long as it gets done, my supervisor is happy. The work is pretty easy, and the tasks are the same each month.

      Cons

      Not challenging. I would prefer to work remotely but can't due to the current administration.

      Exposure to a lot of different architectures, software packages, and tools.

      Cons

      Toxic leadership; political atmosphere with many of the senior managers jockeying for position with no reservation of using others for self-gain.
