      Interesting work that makes a difference in major surveys and data collection, great benefits, good pay.

      Cons

      Projects can get cancelled with short notice which is frustrating.

      Pros

      Good pay - No experience necessary - Somewhat flexible hours It's an awesome endeavor for the Census Bureau to hire thousands of workers, train and deploy them seemingly overnight every 10 years. It was fun to be a part of it. Not sure how different 2020 was because of Covid, I don't think it was really much different than any other decade.

      Cons

      Everyone including supervisors, trainers, managers, payroll, HR everyone is a temp and new to the job. Try not to have anything out of the ordinary that needs special handling or follow-up. For example have your documents in order, turn everything in on time etc. Anything that is outside of the box is difficult for everyone to handle, remember everyone you meet got hired yesterday and is trying to figure it out too. Learn the rules then just work hard, follow the rules, Smile and get paid
