Pros

Good pay for a temporary position. A lot of busy work reviewing enumerators field work and payroll. Overall good job with realistic expectations from Management.

Cons

Temporary work. Once you get the ball rolling and develop a working system and relationships with coworkers the census ends.

Pros

Can work up to 40 hrs. per week, generally on your own schedule.

Cons

Policy changes 2-3 times within same week, hired too many people, wasted lots of money, no consistency in hiring or retention.

Pros

The pay was $15/hr, more than lots of other states. Plus mileage. Coworkers were a good bunch of guys, and people were educated and qualified. Supervisors were good and mine was very helpful, but calls in for advice could get conflicting info.

Cons

Supposed to be flexible, 20 to 40 hours/week. Once we got through training, they said do 40 or none. That was hard with my other job.
