Pros

-Coworkers -Break room -Flexible schedule once you get in -Networking with real chefs and restaurant owners -warehouse experience -401k Match

Cons

-Unclear job description -No such thing as ergonomics -Being understaffed is normal -Customer service desk -Complete lack of training because they're constantly understaffed -Being paid competitively for a regular cashier, but not for the amount we lift on a daily basis or do in general -they way they respond to being understaffed I'm surprised a union hasn't formed yet.

Pros

Some of the managers actually care about your ideas. So you are allowed to collaborate.

Cons

Corporate only cares about Corporate. Everyone made jokes about a certain competitor being the evil empire a few months back. In retrospect, I think it's the other way around. Cue the Imperial March theme. Beware of applying because the company is going through a reorg in preparation for going public. This means a great deal of valuable employees are losing their jobs. Vacation time is ridiculous.. You only get 10 days . It takes 5 years to get a additional 5 days. Benefits are not that great although the bonuses are good.
