Pros

Insurance was great. Until they went IPO it was a steller place to work.

Cons

After 75% of the associates were let go, I knew Temps who said it turned into a horrible place to work. No position is secure.

Pros

Good variety of products to sell

Cons

Management, focus on what makes US Foods money regardless of the salesperson being able to make anything, Scoop program was good concept until it became a forced sell that salespeople had to buy the products to meet quotas

Pros

The culture at US Foods is one of innovation. There are a lot of exciting initiatives and a lot of pride in the brand. As an employer, US Foods has comparable benefits and constantly asks employees for feedback on how to make things better.

Cons

Food distribution industry works on very tight margins so there isn't a lot of money to "throw around" so to speak.
