Pros

Highly technical operation with great programming opportunities. Long term employment. Most of all, computer programmers are also unionized and protected by a good contract.

Cons

In my opinion, postal management is not results oriented, but usually process oriented. They care more about the bureaucratic process at times rather than serving the American people.
