Pros

Benefits, job security and travel. Many opportunities to be a part of specialized units to include K9, counter snipers, emergency response team and motorcycle unit.

Cons

Job comes first not family. Forced overtime. Upper management needs a complete overhaul unfortunately that will never happen. You will not be promoted unless you’re part of the “good ole boys” network.
