Pros

Benefits are great. USAA offers yearly performance bonuses, plus holiday bonuses. Great PTO and PTO buying options.

Cons

Micromanagement with back to back costumer contact, strict metrics, constant change, no matter how long you've been here it seems that you will never truly know how to do your job. Weekly coaching and meetings stating what could have been done better, no matter how hard you work they always find something to nitpick. No work life balance, hard to get PTO approved. If you need to leave early plan to leave an hour or more before as you can get stuck on a long call. You will be stuck at your desk all day, zoom meetings with co-workers sitting next to you.

Pros

Holiday and annual bonuses, PTO, 401k match

Cons

Workload is unmanageable, and the metrics are unreasonable. They will hold you accountable for answering calls and returning voicemail messages within 4 hours even when you're on PTO or calls come in after your shift has ended, It's completely unreasonable. The entire claims department has gone downhill over the past 2 years. It's really sad because USAA was once a great place to work. The claims department is now just a toxic work environment.
